Door without retourn - Goree, Senegal
This door is in the House of the Slaves at Goree Island in Dakar. Here slaves were collected and then sent to different other counties.
This is the door to the sea: it is called “Door without coming back”, because everyone new that if you left from that door, you wouldn’t come back. Ever.
